Privacy policy
This policy explains what TrueDomainCost processes, why it is needed and the choices available to you.
1. Who operates this service
TrueDomainCost is an independently operated comparison service based in Türkiye; it is not a domain registrar. Privacy questions and data-rights requests can be sent to privacy@truedomaincost.com.
2. Information processed
- Domain searches: the domain text you enter and its extension are processed to produce a comparison. Do not enter a person's name, email address or other personal information in the search field.
- Technical and security data: the hosting or delivery provider may process IP address, device/browser information, requested pages, timestamps and error/security events in standard logs.
- Messages: if you email us, we process the address, message and attachments needed to answer and keep a record of the request.
- Consent data: when advertising is activated, consent choices and the signals required to honour them may be stored through Google's consent platform.
- Outbound clicks: an affiliate network may process a referral identifier after you choose a registrar offer. TrueDomainCost does not receive your registrar password or payment-card details.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Search and technical data are used to deliver the requested comparison, protect the service, diagnose failures and prevent abuse. Depending on your location, processing is based on performing the service you request and our legitimate interests in security and reliability. Non-essential advertising, measurement or affiliate cookies are used only where the required consent has been obtained.
4. Cookies, advertising and affiliate links
Google AdSense is enabled only together with the configured Google consent controls. Advertising and measurement technologies follow the choice made in the consent message, and that choice can be revisited through the privacy settings link in the footer.
Some registrar offer links may be affiliate links. This does not change the price ranking, displayed Data Confidence score or the official evidence link. See the affiliate disclosure and cookie notice.
5. Sharing and international transfers
Information may be processed by hosting, security, email, consent, advertising and affiliate providers only as needed for their roles. Those providers may operate internationally and apply their own transfer safeguards. Registrar websites you choose to visit are independent controllers under their own policies.
6. Retention and security
Application data is kept only as long as required for the stated purpose. Security and access logs should be configured for a short operational period, normally no more than 30 days unless an incident or legal obligation requires longer. Correspondence is normally retained for up to 24 months. Access controls, HTTPS, restrictive browser headers and data minimisation are used to reduce risk, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Turkish users may also exercise rights under Article 11 of Law No. 6698. Send a request to privacy@truedomaincost.com. We may need proportionate information to verify the request.
8. Children and changes
The service is not directed to children and does not intentionally collect children's personal information. Material changes will be reflected by a new policy version and, where required, a renewed consent request.
